CGB-GEC. Benjamin MOLBY, b. July 27, 1819 (Chester 5, Jonathan 4, Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). He was b. in the town of Van Buren, Onondaga Co., N.Y. He m. Nov. 10, 1841, Betsey E. STANDLEY, b. in 1820, New York.

                                      June 7, 1865."

Mr. Fred A Molby, of Baldwin, Kansas, writes that Benjamin Molby, his wife and son, are all buried in Glendale cemetery, Waverly Twp., Van Buren, Michigan. (Cemetery records). Benjamin Molby died May 31/ June 1, 1880, at Glendale, Mich., and his wife died Feb. 19, 1906, also at Glendale.

       Child:
CGB-GEC-a.  Charles B. Molby, b. 1855, N.Y.; d. 1937.
                                 His grave is in the Glendale Cemetery, Waverly Twp.,
                                 Van Buren Co., Mich., with those of his father and mother.

Hillsdale, Mich. deeds show that Benjamin had land at Reading as early as 1844-45. (Note that his son, Charles B., is recorded as born in New York, 1855).

The Mortality census states that Benjamin was for 14 years a resident in Van Buren County.

          "Died-Molby

At her home in Glendale, Mich., Feb. 19, 1906, Betsey Standley, widow of Benjamin Molby, aged 86 years. Deceased was an old time resident of Baldwinsville."

          "Died-Molby
In Glendale, Mich., June 1, 1880, Mr. Benjamin Molby of Brights disease and erysipelas in the 61st year." (Baldwinsville Gazette July 1, 1880)
